LPC/LMFT Board Approved Supervisor Training Course!
December 14, 15, & 16 (Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday)
***Be sure to note that the new Board Rules require 20 hours of the 40-hour
Supervisor Training to be face-to-face. As such, my course is now 3 days long.
If you are looking at another course, make sure it meets that requirement!
This 40 hour course is designed to meet the board requirements for licensure as an LPC or LMFT Supervisor in Texas and is approved for 40 hours of Continuing Education units for both LPC's and LMFT's, including 12 hours of Ethics and Legal Issues.

The 40-hour course consists of a Pre-Class Workbook and a 3 Day In-Class seminar.

The Pre-Class Workbook is mailed directly to you after you register for the course and is yours to keep as a resource. Homework from the Pre-Class Workbook is due on the first in-class day.
The In-Class hours include a 3 day curriculum that incorporates PowerPoint presentations, films, in-class discussions, and in-class activities designed to address and cover the following content areas:
*Definitions and Concepts of Supervision
*The Supervisory Relationship and Counselor Development
*Supervision Methods and Techniques
*Group Supervision
*Multicultural Supervision
*Evaluation Methods
*Ethical, Legal, and Professional issues: Roles and Standards
*Executive and Adminstration Tasks

Note: Texas Board rules state that the entire supervision training course must be completed within 90 days. The 90 days begin when you register and pay for the course.
